I am getting a book port plus sometime soon, and was wondering what you think of it. I think some of the features sound great (the voice memos available everywhere, the daisy book production, the text file writing, and the wi-fi chip and capability). How would you compare it to the victor reader stream or booksense in size? What about functionality. How do you like the recording feature? Any other notes?
The BPP is flatter and wider than the Booksense, but is not really larger, just shaped slightly differently. There is space between the buttons on the number pad, unlike the Booksense, if that matters.
I don't care for the record feature on the BPP. It is a complicated process, and I've never quite figured it out. Booksense was superior, in this regard. BPP works well enough, for the rest of what it does, and they update it regularly. There's a support list which is quite helpful, too.
i like the victure reader streem.- it's vary nice. in size.--
